Editorial and Research Policy

How Business Funding Research sources, reviews, updates, and corrects its comparison content.

Our objective is to help established businesses identify the terms, risks, and verification questions that matter before they contact a financing provider.

Evidence standards

Local factual statements must be tied to a named, reviewable source. Our current geographic pilot uses U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey data. We distinguish worker and population estimates from business counts, lender activity, application volume, and financing demand.

We do not invent keyword volume, prices, rates, approval odds, funding speed, provider relationships, local offices, licensing, reviews, or availability.

Programmatic publishing controls

Templates help us organize consistent comparisons across markets, but a page is not approved merely because a city and category can be combined. Pages may remain drafts or be excluded from search engines when they lack sufficient evidence, useful differentiation, accurate disclosures, or a working review process.

Provider information

Product descriptions, qualifications, costs, and availability can change. Visitors should verify the actual provider, APR or factor rate, total repayment, fees, term, payment frequency, collateral, lien position, personal-guarantee requirements, credit-inquiry type, prepayment treatment, licensing, and data-sharing practices directly with the provider.

Compensation and independence

Commercial relationships may influence which providers or calls to action appear. They do not authorize unsupported claims or guaranteed favorable coverage. Sponsored or compensated relationships are disclosed where relevant.

Corrections

Material errors should be reported through our contact page. When an error can be verified, we aim to correct or remove the affected statement and review related pages generated from the same data or template.
